I’m talking about my Google calendar, the virtual schedule where I keep everything I need to do. Yes, my agenda has everything to do with getting fitter, stronger and healthier.
I want you to take a look at your calendar for today, you may have some social meetings, deadlines, school drop-offs or conference calls in there, but I guarantee one thing is missing on the list of things to do. Where is your workout and how does that fit into your schedule?
The most important way to get fit is to keep up a consistent schedule with your workouts. Book your workouts in your calendar as if they were business meetings, or in this case, a meeting for your body and mind. Even among your busiest days, squeezing in a 20-minute workout is better than no workout at all. We all need to start putting our health first, because if we aren’t healthy, how do we expect to be our best selves for those who need us?
