With flu season in full force, we become proactive in washing our hands, staying far from those who sneeze and wiping our gym equipment to limit germs. Though try as we might, sometimes we just can't escape that one bug (Ew!) that entered our body. Luckily, our immune system has us covered, so we can keep going about our day as we would, workout and all... or not?
When I was asked to move Jermaine Morgan, one of Darien Y’s Personal Trainers who weighs in around 245/250lbs of pure muscle, plus 2 added 25lb plates on the sled for a photo, I said, “There’s no way in HELL that I’ll be able to push this!” I immediately decided that it was out of my range. And, I didn’t want to disappoint myself after coming so far in reaching some of my personal fitness goals.
